the front itself is still back in indiana and approaching detroit right now. it will be coming through tonight. it will be moving through rammedly. there's such a difference in the air mass behind it. much dryer, cooler behind it. that contrast will help fire things off this afternoon and this evening as far as storm activity is concerned. in the tropical atlantic, it's a little far north but we have tropical storm leslie. it's been stalled over the same area. in fact, it's stirring up the waters, beginning to cool the water underneath it which is keeping it from strengthening. looks like leslie will pass east of bermuda over the next few days and still a hurricane further east out in the atlantic ocean. none of those affect our weather. but with that front approaching, showers and thunderstorms in our forecast this afternoon. some could be strong to severe. if it's not raining, it will be a mick of sun and clouds this morning and generally overcast this afternoon. 83 to 88 the high temperature today. the yellow shaded area here from new england right down int
